I started making shea butter blended products 2013 with a simple goal: keep it simple and make it good.
Where did the brand name come from? The name emerged in a moment of reflection. As a man who grew up in New Orleans in the Magnolia Housing projects, I’ve been blessed with a praying mother, who's prays and discipline kept myself and siblings from the streets and escape obstacles that crippled to many of our peers. Tragically, on July 28th 2020 while driving home, I was struck by another driver. In that moment time seem to slow to a crawl. Then darkness.
With my life spared and only fracture knee, I was blessed. After surgery and physical healing, I need time to heal mentally. I those moments I realized “Whatever happens, keep thanking God”.
As a graphic designer & creative professional I decided to focus on all the positives moments in my life and not the moment of tragedy. Whether good or bad, I will “Keep Thankin God”.
